He was named in CRN’s Top 100 Most Influential and Top 25 Most Disruptive Executives for 2016, 2017, and 2019. Dr. Tom led teams to develop, launch, and sell dozens of SW and HW products, creating new product categories such as the first private clouds, mobile computers, smart phones, converged server systems, converged IoT systems, and edge aaS software. Dr. Tom holds several US patents, and was the executive sponsor for the IBM Women’s Inventors Network and several corporate IP and patent development initiatives.
