Many members of the SAPinsider Community have started migrating to SAP S/4HANA as their core ERP and to cloud-native applications to run their businesses. This is largely to re-engineer and streamline processes, operations and reduce the burden on IT departments; however, these strategic moves have had implications on access governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance (GRC).
In Q2 of 2020, SAPinsider surveyed members of our community to understand their current strategy for (GRC), and how they plan to meet their strategic needs and objectives. We found that although almost two-thirds of the SAPinsider Community use SAP Access Control as their GRC solution, only 22% of those companies already use version 12.0 even though SAP will end mainstream maintenance for the previous version, SAP Access Control 10.x, at the end of 2020.
