Account Executive

The Account Executive is a high energy sales leader. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with selling marketing services and working with clients to assure account growth and renewal.  The Account Executive is a type-A leader that is self-motivated, always puts clients first and is driven for high performance for the company. The Account Executive reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Specific Responsibilities include:

Named Account Selling – Growing Bookings

  • Manage a named account territory of 30-40 global B2B technology companies built from existing clients, prior clients and new prospects.
  • Achieve a $1.0M annual bookings quota with strong monthly/quarterly goal attainment.
  • Establish relationships with key Marketing executives in every named account including: CMO, Events, Advertising, Lead Generation, Product Marketing, Field Marketing and Market Intelligence.
  • Sell event sponsorships, research sponsorships, lead generation services, magazine advertising, editorial, website advertising, webinars, email campaigns and membership services.
  • Average contract transaction size range is from $10,000 to $250,000.
  • Assure client renewal and upsell with routine ongoing client relationship management.

Professional Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience in a B2B marketing, services or technology environment.
  • Hands on experience with marketing services including lead generation, email, webinars, advertising, social media and events.
  • Proven experience with account development and prospecting.
  • Commitment to a high activity selling approach leveraging calling and emailing skills.
  • Experience with managing a named account territory in SFDC
  • Excellent speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Degree in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline.

Compensation

The Account Executive enjoys a competitive base salary and an aggressive commission plan that includes over plan accelerators and an OTE of $125,000 plus an overall uncapped income potential. In addition, the role participates in all SAPinsider employee benefit programs including healthcare coverage, life insurance, 3 weeks paid vacation, commuter rail benefits and 401K plan.
